The Three Musketeers The Three Musketeers, produced in 1933 by Mascot Pictures, is an updated version of Alexandre Dumas's famous novel of the same name.

Set in North Africa, the Musketeers are soldiers serving in the French Foreign Legion and Lt. Tom Wayne, played by John Wayne, is a United States military pilot.

After being framed for the murder of his fiancee's brother, Lt. Wayne sets out to capture the real killer, who is an Arab terrorist called 'El Shaitan.'

Helping him in his mission are the Three Musketeers: Clancy, Renard, and Schmidt.
