Produced in 1935 and directed by Harry Revier, The Lost City, was independently made.Deep in the heart of Africa, an evil scientist is plotting to take over the world. Zolok, played by William 'Stage' Boyd, has developed a machine that can create earthquakes.
Zolok, who is the last of the Lemurians, is holding a top scientist, Dr. Manyus and his daughter prisoner. He is forcing Dr. Manyus to create mindless 'giant' slaves out of the native population.
Another scientist, Bruce Gordon, is suspicious of the spate of natural disasters in the area, and sets out to investigate.
