
Looney Tunes was the first cartoon series produced by Warner Bros and ran from 1930 right the way up to 1969. The name sometimes spelt as 'Looney Toons' is taken from Walt Disney's 'Silly Symphonies' that were appearing when it was launched.
Originally the cartoons were a vehicle to use Warner Bros. huge music library, but soon it was featuring such cartoon greats as: Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Sylvester and Tweety Pie, Foghorn Leghorn, Yosemite Sam, Pepe Le Pew, Road Runner, Speedy Gonzales, and the list goes on...
